Catholic Charities in southeast Kansas serves the needs of the homeless and abused in an 11-county area from its offices in downtown Pittsburg. 

Southeast Kansas Services at Catholic Charities works to prevent homelessness and stabilize housing through emergency rent and utilities assistance, permanent supportive housing and case management. Catholic Charities provides assistance as a means of keeping people in their homes while guiding families towards goals that meet their daily needs. Helping the working poor, unemployed or people unable to work due to disability or illness, and people on fixed incomes or limited government assistance.
